The padding on the bench is plush but not overwhelming, and the faux-leather cover is elegant and comfortable. One advantage the 14085 piano bench has over x-braced models is that you can position your feet beneath you if you like. And in addition to a wide height-adjustment range, the 14085's spring-loaded clamping knob makes height adjustment easy.
